Market Volatility
The most interesting development last week was Friday’s volatility. Large intraday moves that amounted to a flash in the pan when all was said and done. Fear evaporated quickly as weakness in pricing was quickly bought. Generally speaking, long term investors are best served by turning off their favorite source of market news on days like Friday. The swift return of volatility offered those looking for favorable positioning a welcome opportunity if they were able to react fast enough.
