SPY price appears to have established a long-term upward trend, with a period of potential consolidation beginning in early November and continuing through the end of last week.
BND price appears to be experiencing a short-term pullback within a long-term upward trend
SENTIMENT:
Equity investor sentiment has cooled in the short term, with rising volatility. Market participants appear uncertain about the near term.
Bond investor sentiment has also cooled, with prices retreating from September highs to an area of significant support from July.
ECONOMY AND FUNDAMENTALS:
The U.S. real economy appears well-positioned for continued growth in 2025.
