Both equities and bonds appear range-bound, albeit very near the top of their respective ranges. It will be very interesting to see if either equities or bonds can break through resistance and hold a close above that resistance in the coming week.

Continued price recovery in the bond market continues to surprise me given recent inflation concerns. Market participants appear to be convinced that inflationary pressures will be transitory. I am not yet convinced that this will be the case.

I’m excited to see SONY in the Value Factor Candidate list. Technically, SONY is in a good position after recently bouncing off of its 50-day moving average and closing above near-term resistance last week.
